New River (Fort Lauderale, Florida)

Touring the "Venice of America" with the world famous Jungle Queen Riverboat (May 2017)

Florida's New River is known to many people as the "Venice of the America." One of the best ways to explore the river is by boat with Jungle Queen River Cruises.  The sightseeing tour is 90 munutes. Its fully  narrated and cruises down Fort Lauderale's historic river. Part of New River is Millionares Row, a stretch of waterfront beautiful properties that celebrities, CEOs, millionaires, billionaires, and other well off figures call home. If you ever needed some motivation, these homes will certainly provide it.  They have some of the most scenic views of New River and the surroundings. The tour also included a stop at Jungle Queen Island, a tropical isle that features an alligator show, various wildlife exhibits, food, and drink.

If you're visiting Fort Lauderdale or South Florida in the near future, make sure to add this to the top of your things to do list. It's probably the most memorable part of my visit to Fort Lauderdale, which is saying alot since it was packed with all types of attractions and activities. This is a great way to get a little bit of sun, sightsee, and learn some history about the Sunshine State.
