Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary (Natick, MA) In The Summer
I love exploring new places, but I equally enjoy returning to spots I’ve been to before. Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary is a good example. This place always feels fresh each time I visit, especially when it’s a different season. I’ve been here 3 or 4 times since my first visit back in fall 2018.
During my recent visit, I spent two hours or so walking the All Persons and Mill Pond/Marsh Trail, snapping photos, and listening to some of my favorite podcasts. I also happen to see a ton of wildlife this particular day, including snakes, turtles, turkeys, herons, and a mink carrying a chipmunk in its mouth, that almost ran into me.
I can’t wait to return here in the fall and capture the colorful foliage. In the meantime, you can enjoy the lushes greens below.
If you want to visit Broadmoor anytime soon, be sure to check out the Mass Audubon website to learn more about planning your visit and guidelines pertaining to COVID-19.
